Rev. Amanda Stevens has been appointed to Nailsea and Backwell from September 2008. This will be her second appointment. She has a theological degree from Queens College, Birmingham and comes to our circuit from the Midsomer Norton circuit. Rev. David Bagwell will be moving to Camborne in Cornwall. |

We welcome our new Superintendent Minister the Revd. Dr. Russell Herbert, his wife Tamara and three children (aged 5, 3 and 1) to Clevedon. Russell joins us from the Ringash circuit in Devon. We also welcome as our probationer Roxanne Gibb who spent time with us as a lay worker in Pill before offering for the ministry and many will know that Roxanne’s family worship with us at Nailsea. We ask God's blessing on their work in our Circuit. |

It is with regret that we shall be saying goodbye to two of the Ministers in the circuit this summer. The Rev. Chris Scotchbrook is retiring and the Rev. Tim Daniel is taking up a new appointment in Neath, S. Wales. We thank them and their families for all that they have done in this circuit. May God bless them as they move on in new directions. |
