Rod Ingrouille is minister for Yatton and Pill. He describes himself as a kingdom man and an Alphaholic. His previous post in Abergavenny was the first Methodist church in Wales to run an Alpha course. He says: “The most important thing is to see people become disciples of Jesus Christ.”
Rod has been a minister for 29 years, but he says: “I deliberately ignored the calling for six years because it made me vulnerable. However, God is faithful, he never plays games, and if he calls you he gives you the grace and strength to do it.”
Rod’s vision is to continue developing ‘house church’ where people “laugh together, pray together, and cry together.” He is married to Jane, they have two grown-up children of their own , and currently foster children.
