Serving You
Mandy Stevens is minister for Nailsea and Backwell. Originally a journalist, she worked on local newspapers for eight years while training to be a Methodist local preacher.
In 1999, Mandy trained in Birmingham for three years, before ministering in Paulton and surrounding villages for six years.
Mandy still enjoys being involved with the media and she writes for the Methodist Recorder and contributes to Radio Bristol’s Thought For The Day slot.
She says: “We are working hard to improve our outreach with children and families. We feel very passionate about enabling everyone to feel welcome and included when they visit our churches. Ecumenical work is also important and we join together with other local churches whenever we can for projects.”
